Get involved with our policy programs!
Applications are now open for two exciting opportunities connected to our Nebraska Table network's policy work:
Policy Fellows (2 positions available)
This program provides training to new advocates through our Lobby School to build up their policy expertise and increase representation.
Policy Fellows are placed with a Nebraska Table Member or Partner for a two-year period from June 2026 through the end of the 2028 Legislative session. Policy Fellows are employed by Nebraska Table and housed with the hosting organization for the duration of the contract, with the expectation that by the end of the program, the organization will have built capacity to keep the Policy Fellow on staff, if it is a good fit.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of April 27, 2026, at 5:00 pm CT. Learn more and apply here.
Youth Lobby School
This program is open to 10th-12th grade students in Omaha Public Schools and Lincoln Public Schools. Through this program, participants learn about the Nebraska legislative process and build advocacy skills. The program runs August 2026 through May 2027. A stipend is provided to participants who complete the program.
Applications close May 4, 2026. Learn more and apply here.
The Nebraska Table will post 501c3 nonprofit and nonpartisan advocacy career opportunities. Please submit your job posting via our Contact Us page or, if you work for a Member organization, via the Help Desk.
