Nebraska Table Legislative Priorities for 2025

IN SUPPORT OF:

LB237 (M. Cavanaugh): Allow any county in Nebraska to conduct elections using vote-by-mail, increasing voting access

LB586 (Spivey): Provide assistance for voters who are residents of certain facilities and unable to vote in person to ensure their voting rights

LR7CA (Dorn): Constitutional amendment to change annual salaries to $30,000 for each member of the Legislature, meeting a gap that often leaves representative offices inaccessible to everyday Nebraskans

LR25CA (Hansen): Constitutional amendment to change salary at a rate meeting the state minimum wage and provide healthcare for members of the Legislature, meeting a gap that often leaves representative offices inaccessible to everyday Nebraskans

IN OPPOSITION TO:

LB3 (Lippincott): Change how presidential electors are selected, changing Nebraska to a winner-take-all electoral system and 

LB541 (Holdcroft): Eliminate online and by-mail voter registration, restrict vote-by-mail, require hand counts of ballots, implement additional early voting obstacles, severely impeding voting rights and access in Nebraska

LR24CA (Dorn): Constitutional amendment to change how presidential electors are selected, changing Nebraska to a winner-take-all electoral system
